Miss Lona in Hanoi

Where could we do an unplanned, spontaneous photoshoot? Of course, in the laundry room of a hotel in the center of Hanoi, Vietnam.

Model Miss Duong Thuy Loan (Miss Lona) and I went up to the fourth floor. There we immediately found the perfect location for this shoot: bedsheets, pillowcases, and bath towels were hanging out to dry. Surrounded by washing machines, ironing boards, and other equipment, we started working in an improvisational way. The corrugated roof of our simple studio in the former GreenStreet Hotel protected us from the bright sunlight.

With minimal make-up, simple clothing, and limited daylight, we began the shoot. She was born in Hanoi, Vietnam, in 1989 and is now married with a lovely family.
